ABOUT FMC

Jerra L. Juliano, LCSW
Chief Mitigation Specialist

Jerra L. Juliano is the owner and founder of Fidelis Mitigation Consultants.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who was clinically trained at New York University's Silver School of Social Work where she received her Master of Social Work degree.  Jerra Juliano satisfied all New York State clinical requirements to independently diagnose, provide psychotherapy and implement assessment-based treatment planning.

She received extensive training in forensic social work, working for several years as a Forensic Social Worker for The Legal Aid Society within their criminal division in Queens, New York.  Jerra Juliano is also a substance abuse prevention counselor and psychotherapist with additional experience in discharge planning, case management, and clinical supervision. Throughout her career, Jerra Juliano has assessed, advocated and treated children, adolescents, and adults within a variety of settings. These settings include state, federal and county jails, psychiatric and community hospitals, schools, mental health clinics, and community agencies.

In addition, Jerra Juliano is an ordained Interfaith Minister. She studied at The New Seminary and was ordained by The Interfaith Temple in 2004 at The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in New York City. Since that time, (Rev) Jerra Juliano organizes and participates in fundraisers, and advocates for marginalized populations.

Jerra Juliano's background provides her with the knowledge, skills, and resources to properly investigate, assess, treat, and advocate for those who have been charged with a crime. Her keen analytical skills help her to clearly understand the mitigating circumstances that have contributed to a client's legal issues.

During her investigation, she will assess the client's needs and link them to resources that will address those needs in order to stop the cycle or potential cycle of criminal recidivism.  If deemed appropriate, either through written and/or oral communication, she will express a compelling and clinical recommendation why an alternative to incarceration and/or a lenient sentence should be granted.

Jerra Juliano believes that only through compassion, support and understanding can integration and healing begin.
